Mini Life Update + February Wish List

I've been trying to hurry and get this posted so I can keep my new years resolution of doing 5 blog posts a month! (๑꒪͒∀꒪͒๑) Before I get to my wish list for February, I thought I would do a quick mini life update! Last week, Israel finally got the email and was accepted to BYU-Idaho (Brigham Young University). That means that sometime this year, hopefully around September, we'll be moving out and heading to Idaho! We're so excited for this huge step in life and to finally get out of my parent's house. Israel plans to major in mechanical engineering, and possibly minor in art. I also want to take some classes too but who knows when or if that will happen haha! Anyways, that's really the only big thing that's happened recently in our lives but it's one we are very eager for. ヾ(o✪‿✪o)シ

I love making these kinds of post because I love to "pretend" shop. What I mean by that is I'm addicted to dreaming of things I'll probably never buy. Except with this, these are all things I very well may (hopefully) buy sometime! Just maybe not this month. or year. (*꒦ິㅿ꒦ີ) Haha >.< I'm mostly kidding and things like the chocolate are a necessity for me so at the least I'll get myself that next time I found myself in Daiso. The thing that I think I want the most from my February wish list would have to be either the Too Faced Born This Way foundation or the Tomoe (Kamisama Kiss) body pillow. I LOVE the body pillow! (๑♡⌓♡๑)

What are some things you wish for this February (or Valentines Day)? Thank you for reading and comment below!

Sakura-Con Lineup

Israel and I are so so sooo excited! This March we'll be going to Sakura-con, a huge Seattle anime convention. ヾ(0∀0*★)゚*・.。 This will be our first con and first time officially cosplaying. Our anniversary is in May, but we'll be celebrating early this year. So my parents will watch Xavi for us and then we are going to be staying in a hotel no more than a few blocks from the convention. As it gets closer I'll post more about it and the ways that we're going to prepare for it, but in the mean time I thought I would share our cosplay lineups! ╰(◉ᾥ◉)╯ (and some fun little gifs)

Friday:

Israel will cosplay as Tobi! (Naruto)

And I'll be Nanami Momozono! (Kamisama Kiss)

Saturday:

Israel will cosplay as an anbu from Naruto. He's ordered two masks and so he can switch from being just a generic, unnamed anbu to anbu Yamato.

Then, I will be my princess, Hinata Hyuga! (also from Naruto)

Hinata gets extra gifs because she's a goddess. (♡ ὅ ◡ ὅ )ʃ♡ Hahaha! I hope you guys enjoyed my gif spam. This post was mostly just an excuse for me to post a bunch of them, so I hope you don't mind! Thanks for reading cuties, I'll be sure to post again soon.

My Tiny Secret That's Erased My Bloat

Ever since I gave birth to Xavi, I have had HORRIBLE bloat. It was like every time I ate, I felt like I was 4 months pregnant again. When you look pregnant but don't actually get the enjoyment of carrying a little fetus it really is not at all rewarding or exciting. It's even a little embarrassing. (๑´ㅂ`๑) So finally I was sick of it! I wanted to find something that would help me with my awful bloat but wouldn't give me the nasty side effects that I get whenever I take medications. And so after some research, trial/error, and a couple of good melt downs, I found the answer to all my prayers. Peppermint tea.

Peppermint tea is full of benefits but the one that I have personally noticed the most is that my bloat is practically non existent now. This comes from an ingredient in peppermint tea- Menthol. It relaxes the muscles and improves digestion; that way, any gas that may be uncomfortable and causing the bloat can be released or even prevented. And unlike a lot of other teas, it doesn't need any sweeteners as its natural taste is refreshing on its own. ꒰˘̩̩̩⌣˘̩̩̩๑꒱♡ My favorite brand is definitely Stash , because the tea bags can still give off flavor even with a few refills of hot water.

While my bloat is now a thing of the past, I'll continue to drink peppermint tea daily for the other many benefits that it has!

I hope this can be helpful to any of you lovelies who may also suffer from bloat. Please remember that if your problem is serious, you should talk to your doctor. ♡ Thank you for reading, and enjoy your tea!

Review - Naruto the Last: Hinata Hyuga Figurine

I received some money for Christmas and decided to spoil myself a little bit with it. So I ordered a few clothing items (which I will share once I receive them all) and I ordered myself a Hinata figurine that I've been drooling over since forever. ॱ॰⋆(˶ॢ‾᷄﹃‾᷅˵ॢ)♡♡♡ The figure is the version of Hinata Hyuga from the movie Naruto: The Last . I got it off of Amazon for only $35. It's currently sold out but will be restocked January 11th and is only $32.99 as of now.

I was SO excited when the UPS delivery man dropped the package off at my house. At the moment, I was busy with something in our room so I had Israel and Xavi grab it for me. They brought me the Amazon package and then Israel helped me open it with a knife. I love the design of the packaging, it's super edgy and I love that it's in Japanese. It makes it feel way more authentic that way. The only problem I had with the box is that it didn't come in perfect condition. Some of the corners were a little squished and in the front, top center it's slightly dented. That was slightly disappointing, but even then not at all a big deal since that doesn't really effect the figure itself.

When opening the box, I pulled out a roll of cardboard. Inside of it was bubble wrapped around the Hinata figure and triangle stand. At first it's a little tricky getting the figure to actually stay on the stand because the holes on her feet are so tiny but after some fiddling I was successful. !(•̀ᴗ•́)و ̑̑ Hinata is beautiful! This figure is the type that does not have any moveable parts, so it's a little bit trickier for taking posed photos like you can with others, like Nendoroid Figures. The detail is absolutely gorgeous, her outfit is perfect and the detail in her face is spot on and proportioned wonderfully. I also love the illusion of movement they've created from having her hair to the side as if there's wind.

Overall, I am really in love with this figure. Hinata looks so adorable and if you are a huge Hinata Hyuga fan like me then she is definitely a must have! I'm so happy with it and the reasonable price that I got it for off of amazon. Thanks so much for reading, and please leave some of your thoughts in the comment section below. (◍•ᴗ•◍)♡ ✧*。

Happy New Years + My 2016 Resolutions

Happy New Years everyone! I can't believe how fast 2015 went by; I'm honestly a little scared, but also extremly eager for 2016 to go by as well. This is a big year for my family as Israel is going to be finishing his associates here at Everett Community College and then we'll be moving to Idaho, in maybe the fall? The last few days Xavi and I have been pretty sick and now Israel caught our colds too so we're all a little sick today haha! Regardless, we had a nice relaxing New Year's Eve at home and we're hoping this cold will pass us quickly.

Every year I will come up with a list of Resolutions (or goals for myself) for the upcoming new year. Last year I accomplished maybe half of my list but I'm still pretty proud of myself for even doing that. (•̀⌄•́)

This year I wasn't sure at first what I wanted my 2016 goals to be, but after watching an episode of Naruto for some inspiration I came up with a list that I'm very content with.

Khalina's 2016 Resolutions:
1. Be a more loving and gentle person to everyone around me, including myself
2. Have clearer skin
3. Run a 10k with my husband
4. Lose 20 lbs
5. Gain more confidence in myself
6. Be more organized
7. Continue a pescetarian diet
8. Find my own art style
9. Learn Japanese
10. Finish my book
11. Write atleast 5 blog posts a month

This is going to be some hard work but I know in the end, whether I complete it all or not, I'll be a better and healthier person! Good luck to you all and I hope this year is kind to you and your families. Thank you for reading, and comment some of your own New Years resolutions below! (๑ Ỡ ◡͐ Ỡ๑)ノ♡
